In a groundbreaking achievement, Erfan Firouzi, a Grade 10 student at The Westminster School, Dubai, has clinched the first place in the Best Sustainable Project category at the 15th edition of the Annual Medical and Science Exhibition (MASE) organized by Gulf Medical University (GMU). Firouzi was honored with a prestigious trophy and a cash prize of 700 AED for his exceptional project, which stood out among over 500 entries submitted by talented students from across the UAE.

The GMU MASE competition is one of the most anticipated events for high school students in the UAE. This year, it saw the participation of over 3,000 students from 81 schools, competing across five categories: project, poster, painting, music, and poetry.
